Come see us at Avante Inverness

Address: 304 S Citrus Ave, Inverness, FL 34452 | Phone: 352-326-6300

Avante at Inverness is located next door to Citrus Memorial Hospital, where they house the Heart and Vascular Center, who consult with our patients. Proud of our wound care program with a designated wound care nurse who rounds daily on our patients. We are the only facility in Citrus County with the Alter G (antigravity) treadmill. This unique piece of equipment enables individuals to walk or run a lower percentage of their body weight. This is useful in a clinical setting as it can help pts perform rehabilitation with less pain. Avante at Inverness is 1 of only two Citrus County facilities contracted with the VA to accept patients. Avante at Inverness is known throughout the community to engage long-term care patients and their families in events and activities.

For over 30 years, Avante has specialized in skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and post-acute services. Our associates are committed individuals who desire to create an environment that fosters wellness, integrity, and success. At Avante, you will have the opportunity for advancement, learn new skills, meet new people, build rewarding professional and personal relationships, and improve the quality of life of those around you. We are focused on the whole person, a concept that includes families, colleagues, and communities. Simply put, our mission is you!

Taylor Becht

My name is Taylor Becht, and I was appointed Executive Director of Avante of Inverness effective Monday, February 15th. It is with great humility and honor that I accepted the role. Avante translated stands for moving forward. I have found Avante has more than deserved this translation. From my first week to a year later, I have seen numerous examples of the unique nature of Avante, from those a part of the team to those we serve in the communities. I have found that the Avante family has a deep sense of love and commitment for their peers and residents. Avante has, with persistent dedication, constantly moved forward and has gone above the call of duty for their team members and residents.

I began my health care career after graduating from The University of Miami with a Master’s in Health Care Administration in 2019. Soon after that, Avante offered me an opportunity to become an Administrator in Training. During the administrator in the training program, it was clear that every employee holds a place in the hearts of Avante’s leadership. During this time, Avante fostered me both as a leader and mentor. While on my journey at Avante, I saw leadership evolve and adapt as the COVID-19 crisis evolved. It would have been easy to ignore an AIT during the crisis. They instead continued to focus on developing and mentoring me to be an administrator. After one year, I was given an incredible opportunity to take over operations of Avante at Inverness.

My goals as executive director are to ensure that Avante of Inverness continues as a pillar of excellence while evolving so that we can better serve the ever-changing needs of seniors in our community. We must fulfill the mission of Avante sets out to achieve in every community “to improve the quality of life for our esteemed residents, of our colleagues, and our communities by exceeding expectations – one individual at a time” (Avante)

Crystal Richards

Director of Nursing

I am the director of nursing at Avante of Inverness. I joined the Avante family in March 2012 and started my nursing career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in rehabilitation and long-term care. I graduated from Chattanooga State as a licensed practical nurse, which I practiced for ten years. I continued my education at the College of Central Florida, graduating with an associate degree in nursing. I have 19 years' experience in long term care/rehabilitation. I started my career in this type of setting and remained because I genuinely enjoy working in such a loving environment that surrounds me. From the moment I started my career here, there has been such a reassurance that I need to remain diligent and steadfast in my obligation as a nurse. When not at work, you can find me enjoying time with my two daughters and four grandchildren or romping through the woods with my two German Shepherds.
